Dave Guebert - Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Dave Guebert is vice president, finance and chief financial officer of
Cell-Loc. Dave has 25 years of experience in financial, accounting and
commercial roles in Calgary companies. Prior to joining CLTI, he was CFO at
Seminole Canada, a merchant energy company. In addition, Dave has held senior
financial positions as Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche, Controller at
the XV Olympic Winter Games Organizing Committee and CFO at Hughes Aircraft of
Canada. He is a Chartered Accountant (Alberta), a Certified Public Accountant
(Pennsylvania) and holds a B.Comm (distinction) from the University of
Saskatchewan.
Michael Hryciuk - Vice President, Engineering
Michael Hryciuk is vice president, Engineering of Cell-Loc. Michael is a professional
engineer with over 20 years of operations, manufacturing, and production experience in
areas including digital systems design, RF engineering, and the development of a tracking
Doppler radio system. He served as president for Pegasus Electronic Design Inc.;
and chief engineer for AutoTrac Technology Ltd. where he patented, designed, and
manufactured a stolen vehicle recovery system of which 80,000 transceivers have been sold
in South Africa. Michael was also chief engineer at Austec Electronic Systems Ltd.
where he was responsible for the engineering and manufacturing of an automatic vehicle
identification system for use in automatic toll collection applications.
The patented system is currently being used in the United States and Canada with over
a million units sold.
Ned Benner - Vice President, Network Development
Ned Benner is vice president of network development at Cell-Loc. Ned joined Cell-Loc in
January 2000 as director network planning after 10 years with TELUS Mobility Inc., one
of Canada's leading telecommunications carriers. By June of 2000 he assumed the
role of vice president, deployment which has since evolved into his present
role. While at TELUS, he was known for introducing novel and successful
solutions to system planning challenges. He has carried forward that innovative
nature into Cell-Loc and leads the development of network technology and system
deployment strategies. He has a master of engineering in wireless communication
and an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. As well, he received the
1996 IEEE Neal Shephard Memorial Award for his paper on antenna design
strategies within cellular networks.
Bruce Fielding - Vice President, Network Operations
Bruce Fielding is Vice President, Network Operations at Cell-Loc. Bruce holds a Bachelor of
Applied Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and is a
Professional Engineer with over 18 years of telecommunications, networking and product
development experience. He has been with Cell-Loc for five years in various positions.
Prior to that, Bruce worked for Nortel Networks where he held management positions
in Product Development, Customer Service and Product Management. While at Nortel he was
responsible for the development of the Millennium Advanced Payphone Management System
software that was deployed by several North American Telco's for controlling over 100,000
advanced payphones.
